INTENDED USE

Cleaning solution is an aqueous enzyme mixture, used for preventing protein build up in the fluid lines of the ISE module in the XL Clinical Chemistry Auto-analyzer.

CONTENT

Reagent R1 – Daily Cleaner Diluent, 1 x 90 ml: HCl (0.1 mol/l) and salts Reagent R2 – Daily Cleaner Powder, 6 x 0.3 g: pepsin (0.3 g)

PREPARATION

1. Add daily cleaner diluent to top of pepsin bottle label (12 ml) and shake well.

2. Record date.

3. Refrigerate at 2 – 8 °C.

4. Discard 4 weeks after mixing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake well before use. Dispense 0.5 ml of cleaning solution into the XL sample cup and place on the position for ISE cleaning. Follow instructions as listed in the XL operator’s manual. The cleaning solution should be run once a day to prevent protein build up or at 8 hrs intervals if the ISE module performs more then 50 samples per day.

STABILITY AND STORAGE

Store at 2 - 25 °C until expiration date on labels.

WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS

Reagent 1 is not classified as hazardous. Reagent 2 contains pepsin.
